As they are not recognised as essential services, the decision of government is that all sports facilitates including golf courses , practice facilities and driving ranges must close during the Level 5 restrictions with some exceptions.
Both sports had to draw stumps under Level 5 restrictions in the last lockdown announced in mid-October, but have now been given the all-clear to continue this time around.
