Ten Finger Grip
Moe Norman : The King of Swing (TV Movie 2002) – IMDb.
He turned professional in 1957 and played briefly on the PGA Tour , but due to shyness, bullying he encountered from certain pros, and a preference to stay in Canada, he stayed primarily in Ontario rather than travel extensively outside Canada. In the 80s, Norman also played several events on the Senior PGA Tour .
Moe Norman used an overlapping grip from the time he started playing until 1993. He switched to a 10 – finger grip in 1994. When they collaborated in 1994, Natural Golf’s Hand position came together, closing the gap between the hands, and Moe moved his hand apart to a 10 – finger position.
Moe played with all sorts of conventional clubs , but he altered them dramatically. He tore off all the conventional golf grips and replaced them with heavy, thicker grips. He adjusted the lie angle to fit him and added more weight to the clubhead – usually with lead tape.
