The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open is the latest sporting event to be postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The European Tour confirmed that the event, scheduled for 28-31 May at Mount Juliet, has been postponed following “consultation with all stakeholders”.

Kilkenny, Ireland . The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open returns to the Mount Juliet Estate in May 2020, five weeks earlier than in 2019.
Mount Juliet will host the 2021 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open on July 1-4, according to the European Tour’s newly published schedule for next year. However due to Covid-19 restrictions the Irish Open was postponed until September, when it took place in Galgorm Castle and was won by American golfer John Catlin.
The Irish Open is suspended temporarily due to the risk of lightning at the Portrush.
