Bobby Jones, who won the pre-Masters era Career Grand Slam once, and is the only golfer all -time to have won four majors in the same calendar year .

1. Jack Nicklaus . Nicknamed the Golden Bear , Nicklaus gained 73 victories in his career, including 18 major golf championships.
Nicklaus won five of the first eight senior major championships he played in. He finished in the top 10 in 20 of his first 22, and had top-four finishes 15 times. 18. Nicklaus and Tiger Woods are the only two players to achieve three career grand slams.

A final-round score of 66 at Augusta National gave him a four-round total of 272 (16 under par) and titles in four consecutive majors . Woods won the 2000 U.S. Open, 2000 British Open, 2000 PGA Championship and the 2001 Masters in a span of 294 days by a combined 26 strokes.
In terms of the current four majors , the first to win all four in a single year was Don Budge, who completed the feat in 1938. To date, 17 players have completed a Grand Slam , though only six in the most prestigious singles titles. Only Stefan Edberg has completed the Grand Slam in a Junior discipline.
