Adam Scott has ended a near-four-year title drought on the US PGA Tour with a two-shot victory at an Invitational tournament in Los Angeles — and this time it counts.
The Genesis Invitational is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in southern California, first played 94 years ago in 1926 as the Los Angeles Open . Other previous names include Northern Trust Open and Nissan Open .

Woods finished 68th (out of the 68 that made the cut ) at the 2020 Genesis Invitational on Sunday, an event he spent the week hosting. After a promising 69 in Round 1, Big Cat closed 73-76-77 to shoot 11-over 295.

Rickie Fowler was 6 inches from making another cut in a major championship. Fowler shot 1-under 69 on Friday, but missed his first cut in a major since the 2016 U.S. Open. A flubbed tap-in was the difference.
The standard cut line for a PGA event after two rounds is the score of the 70th lowest scoring professional. Any players that finish with that score or better are considered to have made the cut and continue play in the weekend rounds, unless the number of players in the tie merits further tie-breaking.
